XAS FF

Beskrivelse

# Michelin Collection XAS FF## A Pioneer in Asymmetrical DesignIntroduced in 1965, the Michelin XAS FF quickly became the benchmark in tyre performance, maintaining its leading status throughout the 1970s. It was the first production tyre to feature an asymmetrical tread pattern, a revolutionary design inspired by the natural asymmetry of the human foot. This innovation allowed the inner and outer sections of the tyre to perform distinct functions, enhancing balance, stability, and handling.## Engineered for Precision and PerformanceBy optimizing the roles of the shoulder, sidewall, and crown based on their position relative to the vehicle, Michelin achieved a new level of control. The result was exceptional grip in all conditions, superior cornering ability, and remarkable straight-line stability—delivering a driving experience often described as "running on rails."Designed to handle speeds up to 210 km/h, the XAS was not only built for high-performance road use but also proved its capabilities in motorsport, becoming a preferred choice in Formula France, circuit racing, rallies, and hill climbs from 1968 onward.
